The crusades were all about restoring the control of the Christians. The pursue of anti- Catholics was made and they killed various people just because of religious beliefs.

It was good because we discovered a new part in the world we didn't know existed. It was bad because the Indian population was exploited, mistreated, and enslaved, decimating their population.
